Job summary

Linde Material Handling in Queensland is seeking a driven Trades Assistant to support our Service Technicians by diagnosing and repairing Linde and non-Linde equipment. You will work at a fixed site, assisting with parts orders, service app job logs, and customer service.

Ideally you have a mechanical background with forklift or heavy equipment experience, a proactive attitude, and are ready to learn. Pre-employment checks apply and we welcome diverse candidates.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background with forklift/heavy equipment or automotive experience is expected.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and assist team.
• Pre-employment medical and reference checks are part of recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues for Linde and non-Linde machines.
• Order spare parts via the Parts Portal and log relevant information.
• Use the Linde Service App to receive jobs from office and update job status.
• Provide customer service and maintain tools in good condition.
• Liaise with Service Allocators to confirm daily job schedules and ensure timely completion.
• Assist other service technicians and perform repairs of units in the workshop as needed.
