Job summary

Fleetwood Australia is seeking a trade-qualified carpenter for a full-time role at our High Wycombe modular building facility, working in a factory environment to frame, fit-out and assemble builds. You will follow established processes to meet safety and quality targets and contribute from start to finish, joining a close-knit crew and applying your hands-on skills.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified carpenter with a Certificate III in Carpentry or recognised Australian equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• White Card and valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Sound understanding of building and construction industry safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble building components such as flooring, wall frames, roof trusses, windows, doors and exterior claddings.
• Set up building levels and alignments according to drawings and project requirements.
• Build stairs, ramps, eaves and transit walls.
• Assist team members and labourers to support project progress and completion.
• Conduct maintenance, repairs, modifications and reworks to ensure quality and safety.
• Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment safely.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE.

This is a full-time role based at our High Wycombe modular building facility, working in a factory environment where you'll be involved in framing, fit-out and assembly work that brings our builds to life.

You’ll be part of a close-knit crew, following established processes to meet safety, quality and production targets, with the opportunity to see projects come together from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and assemble various building components, including flooring, wall frames, roof trusses, windows, doors, and exterior claddings.

• Build additional structures such as stairs, ramps, eaves, and transit walls.
• Assist team members and labourers to support project progress and completion.
• Conduct maintenance, repair work, modifications, and reworks as needed to ensure quality and safety.
• Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety protocols, wear personal protective equipment, and comply with workplace health and safety standards.
