Job summary

Fleetwood Australia is seeking a trade-qualified Carpenter to join our High Wycombe modular construction team. You’ll work in a factory environment, framing, fit-out and assembling components from start to finish, following established processes to meet safety, quality and production targets.

The role requires a Certificate III in Carpentry, White Card, and a valid Australian driver’s licence, with a minimum of two years in a similar role.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Carpenter with a Certificate III in Carpentry (or recognised Australian equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• White Card (Construction Card).
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Sound understanding of the building and construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble various building components, including flooring, wall frames, roof trusses, windows, doors, and exterior claddings.
• Set up building levels and alignments according to drawings and project requirements.
• Build additional structures such as stairs, ramps, eaves, and transit walls.
• Assist team members and labourers to support project progress and completion.
• Conduct maintenance, repair work, modifications, and reworks as needed to ensure quality and safety.
• Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety protocols, wear personal protective equipment, and comply with workplace health and safety standards.
