LegalVision Law UK Ltd in Sydney is seeking a motivated career paralegal to join our Trade Marks team on a full-time basis, supporting Australian and international businesses to protect, manage and enforce their brand assets.

This entry-level role offers real responsibility and direct client contact, with prior TM experience helpful but not essential. A law degree is welcomed, and the role supports growth within a dynamic, technology-powered firm with flexible work options.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as Paralegal or administrative assistant in a busy legal environment.
• Available to work full-time, including office presence two days per week.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
• Highly efficient, organised, and tech savvy.
• Cool and calm under pressure.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out trade mark searches and preparing and filing trade mark applications.
• Managing trade mark portfolios, including monitoring deadlines, providing regular updates to clients, and assisting with maintenance requirements.
• Liaising with clients throughout the trade mark application process.
• Supporting lawyers with evidence of use projects.
• Preparing and filing trade mark documentation with IP Australia, IPONZ and WIPO.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated career paralegal to join our high performing Trade Marks team on a full-time basis. This newly created role offers the chance to work with a growing number of Australian and international businesses across a wide range of industries, supporting them to protect, manage and enforce their brand assets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out trade mark searches and preparing and filing trade mark applications.
• Managing trade mark portfolios, including monitoring deadlines, providing regular updates to clients, and assisting with maintenance requirements.
• Liaising with clients throughout the trade mark application process.
• Supporting lawyers with evidence of use projects.
• Preparing and filing trade mark documentation with IP Australia, IPONZ and WIPO.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an early career paralegal to step into a supportive team that offers real responsibility and direct client contact. Prior experience in trade mark matters will be highly valued but is not essential.

While we welcome applications from candidates who possess a law degree, this paralegal role will not provide a pathway to a law graduate position in our team.
