Job summary

TAFE SA is seeking an hourly paid instructor to deliver training, assess student progress and guide learners in accordance with relevant training package objectives.

HPI's may also provide consultancy to industry or community clients. Candidates should hold trade qualifications in Carpentry, Bricklaying, Tiling, Concreting, Wall and Ceiling Lining, or Solid Plastering, with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment desirable. WWCC is required.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications and industry experience relevant to one of the listed trades.
• Knowledge of current industry procedures and practical trade work.
• Ability to relate to clients of various ages, especially young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality training and assessment to students.
• Guide and mentor learners in practical and theoretical tasks.
