Job summary

Avida in NSW seeks reliable Trade Assistants / Production Assemblers to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities include assembling components, cabinet edging, metal component preparation, and wiring assembly in our van manufacturing workshop.

You will follow drawings, perform quality checks, and assist with warehouse duties as needed. Candidates with experience in cabinetmaking, assembly environments, and using hand/power tools are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly or manufacturing environments.
• Cabinet edging, cutting, and preparation.
• 12V automotive, caravan, RV, or accessory installation.
• Electrical assembly line work (non-licensed).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

We are seeking reliable, hands‑on Trade Assistants / Production Assemblers Workers to join our team. We are looking for candidates with practical experience using tools and working in manufacturing, cabinetmaking support, vehicle fit‑outs, warehouses, or similar environments.

About the Role:

Assembly of components and vehicle fit outs

Cutting and preparation of metal components in our van manufacturing workshop

Cabinet edging and cutting of cabinetry components

Use of hand and power tools

12V accessory and wiring assembly work

Following work instructions and drawings

Quality checks and general workshop duties

Assisting with warehouse operations as required

Skills & Experience

We are interested in applicants with experience in one or more of the following:

Assembly or manufacturing environments

Cabinet edging, cutting, and preparation

Cabinetmaking assistant or joinery experience

Metal cutting and workshop fabrication support

Hand and power tool operation

12V automotive, caravan, RV, or accessory installation

Electrical assembly line work (non‑licensed)

Warehouse experience

Forklift operation (licence highly regarded)

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
