Aston Advantage is seeking a reliable Trade Assistant / Handyman for Rockingham, WA. This casual role offers a clear pathway to full-time after a successful trial, with an approximate 38 hours per week and potential overtime.

You will work on maintenance, measurements, and installation of security doors and gates, using power tools in a hands-on environment. No formal trade qualification is required; prior construction or handyman experience is preferred.

Trade Assistant / Handyman | Rockingham WA | Casual (pathway to Full-Time)

Opportunity: Hands-on role supporting building maintenance, measuring and installation of security doors and gates, plus general handyman and labouring tasks across Perth Metro. You’ll work with power tools, take accurate measurements and assist with practical site and workshop work — training provided on the job.

Experience: No formal trade qualification required. Construction, labouring or general handyman experience preferred. Must be comfortable using power tools and taking measurements. Reliable candidates with limited experience who are keen to learn will also be considered. Visa holders welcome.

Benefits: $38–$45 per hour depending on experience + penalties/overtime. Company vehicle and tools provided. Casual start with clear pathway to full-time after a successful trial. Approx. 38 hours per week with potential Saturday and overtime once trained.

Extra’s: Full driver’s licence essential. Must be practical, reliable, safety-conscious and ready to start ASAP. Local Rockingham base with Perth Metro travel. Immediate start available for the right candidate.
