Job summary

Fervour in Melbourne seeks a skilled Forklift Technician to maintain and repair Toyota forklifts across our Werribee and Epping workshops, with additional on-site work for the hire fleet. You’ll troubleshoot, service, and ensure safety across varied environments, joining a hands-on team focused on reliable operation.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ forklift experience, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to read manuals and schematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a forklift technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence required.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in varied conditions (including outdoors).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and safety checks
• Identify and replace faulty or worn parts
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards
• Work collaboratively with team members to provide efficient, high-quality service
