Job summary

Programmed is seeking a Towns & Parks Maintenance Operator in Jindera, NSW. You will perform hands-on maintenance across parks, streets, and public spaces, operating plant to support infrastructure work while upholding a professional image of Council.

Responsibilities include maintaining reserves, cleaning and litter removal, toilet and drainage upkeep, mowing and tree pruning, and safe operation of equipment per procedures and WHS guidelines. NSW licenses and training are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Current MR Licence (Minimum).
• White Card (Mandatory).
• NSW Traffic Control Ticket (Mandatory).
• Demonstrated experience operating plant equipment.
• Extensive knowledge in maintenance of street trees.

• Clean public toilets and maintain drainage.
• Mow grass, prune trees and help maintain sporting ovals.

• Follow work health and safety procedures, identify and report hazards, incidents and risks to the public.
• Work cooperatively with colleagues, participate in relevant training and undertake other duties within your skills as directed.

About the Role

Reporting to the Town and Parks Maintenance Ganger - East Region, you will undertake a range of hands-on maintenance duties across urban areas, parks, road reserves and other public spaces. You will operate relevant plant and equipment to support the operation, maintenance and construction of Shire infrastructure, while contributing to a positive and professional image of Council.
