Job summary

Skyscraper Tower Cranes is seeking a full-time Welder to join our team in Sydney. The role involves welding, fabrication and repair work for tower crane operations in both workshop and construction-site environments.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification, at least 1 year of welding/fabrication experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. Salary ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 AUD per year.

Qualifications

• Must have welding qualifications and experience in fabrication.
• 1 year of relevant welding/fabrication experience preferred.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Ability to read drawings and work from specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and job requirements for welding and fabrication work.
• Prepare crane bases, brackets, frames and other steel components as per drawings.
• Weld and repair steel components used in tower crane installation, support and maintenance.
• Inspect welds and crane-related metal components for defects and carry out repairs.
