Job summary

Strictly Cranes (Aus) Pty Ltd – Regents Park NSW is seeking a hands-on professional to join our crane operations team. The role focuses on installation, dismantling, climbing, servicing and maintenance of tower cranes across sites.

You will rig, sling, lift and position components, assist with commissioning after installation, and work closely with crane operators, riggers and site personnel to ensure safe, efficient crane operations.

Qualifications

• Current Driver's Licence is required.
• High Risk Work Licence – Dogman (DG), Intermediate Rigging Licence (RB), Working at heights.
• Understanding of cranes or similar equipment.
• Ability to work in a team and independently; strong leadership and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, dismantling, climbing, servicing and maintenance of tower cranes.
• Rig, sling, lift and position tower crane components during erection and dismantling.
• Assemble and disassemble mast sections, jibs, counter-jibs, counterweights, crane ties and other crane components.
• Assist with commissioning, testing and adjustment of tower cranes following installation, climbing, servicing or repairs.
• Inspect crane components and identify and report damage, wear, faults or defects.
• Inspect and safely use slings, shackles, chains and other rigging and lifting equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading tower crane components and equipment.
• Work safely at heights using appropriate fall-arrest and access systems.
• Guide loads and communicate with crane operators and other crew using radios and hand signals.
• Work closely with crane operators, riggers, technicians and site personnel to safely complete crane operations.
