Job summary

SL Towing Services, a Canberra-based family business, is seeking skilled tow truck drivers to join our growing team. You’ll operate late-model tilt trays, heavy rigs and specialist trailers on diverse assignments including vehicle recovery and machinery transport.

We offer base earnings from $90,000 per year, uniform and PPE supplied, and opportunities for overtime and weekend shifts. NSW Tow Truck Driver Certificate or willingness to obtain is required; MR/HR licence is essential.

Qualifications

• MR or HR licence is essential.
• NSW Tow Truck Driver Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Load restraint & machinery transport experience preferred.
• Good customer service skills & a professional attitude.
• Willingness to work after-hours & weekends on roster.

Responsibilities

• Operate late-model tilt trays, heavy rigs and specialist trailers on a variety of jobs.
• Undertake vehicle recovery (accident or roadside) and machinery transport.
• Handle oversize and specialty loads while maintaining safety standards.
