Job summary

Combined Towing Service (NSW) Pty Ltd in Sydney is hiring a reliable MR tow truck driver to operate a Hino FE tilt tray and join a team serving insurers, dealerships, councils and NSW Police.

You will respond to accident scenes and breakdowns across greater Sydney, safely load and transport damaged vehicles including EVs, assist at police-directed incidents and maintain accurate job records on our app.

Qualifications

• Hold a current MR (Medium Rigid) license with a clean driving record.
• Must hold NSW Tow Truck Driver's Certificate before starting.
• Tilt tray experience is a plus, be willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Respond to accident scenes, breakdowns and trade jobs across greater Sydney.
• Safely loading, securing and transporting damaged, broken-down and prestige vehicles, including EVs.
• Assist at police-directed incidents as required.
• Complete towing authorities and job records accurately on our app.
• Maintain professional conduct and supportive teamwork on scene.

Drive for Combined Towing that's been on the road for 40 years.

Combined Towing Service (NSW) Pty Ltd has been keeping Sydney moving since 1986, under the same family's ownership the whole way. From our Alexandria depot, a team of 45 people and a fleet of 40 vehicles run around the clock, 24/7, for major insurers, Dealerships, Councils and NSW Police.

Our fleet is growing, so we're looking for a reliable MR tow truck driver to take the wheel of a Hino FE tilt tray.

What you'll be doing

• Responding to accident scenes, breakdowns and trade jobs across greater Sydney
• Safely loading, securing and transporting damaged, broken-down and prestige vehicles, including EVs
• Assisting at police-directed incidents
• Completing towing authorities and job records accurately on our app
• Looking after drivers who've just had a bad day, with patience and a calm head

What you'll need

• A current MR (Medium Rigid) license or higher, with a good driving record
• A NSW Tow Truck Driver's Certificate, which you must hold before you start driving for us. Don't have one yet? You can apply through Service NSW (NSW Fair Trading), and we're happy to talk you through the process.
• Tilt tray experience is a big plus, but not essential if you're keen to learn
• Good communication, a professional approach on scene, and pride in doing the job right
• Willingness to work a roster that includes weekends
