Job summary

Hidden deTours - Bus and Walking Tours in Perth and Fremantle seeks fabulous new walking tour guides to bring stories of hidden bars, local history and quirky tales to life. If you connect with audiences, enjoy entertaining people, and want ongoing casual work including afternoons, evenings and weekends, apply now.

Background in theatre, comedy or public speaking is a plus, but not essential. First Aid, RSA and Police Clearance are requested or willing to obtain them; training is paid and tours

Qualifications

• Outgoing, engaging and natural storytellers.

• Interest in Perth and Fremantle's bars, food and drink scene.
• Curious about local history, art, culture and quirky stories.
• Organised, reliable and confident speaking in front of groups.
• Interested in ongoing casual work including afternoons, evenings and weekends.
• Available Fridays and Saturdays throughout December.
• Background in theatre, comedy, performing arts, public speaking, tourism, hospitality or events is a plus.
• Previous tour guiding experience welcome but not essential.
• Casual employment paid at the applicable award rate.

Love hidden bars, local history and quirky stories? Have a flair for entertaining people?

We are looking for fabulous new walking tour guides to join our award-winning Hidden deTours team in Perth and Fremantle!

From Hidden Bar Tours to History, Art and Culture Tours, plus some exciting new speciality experiences, our tours are all about showcasing the hidden and the different.

We are looking for people with personality, confidence and a natural ability to connect with an audience.

Who would make a great Hidden deTours guide?

We would love to hear from people who:

• Are outgoing, engaging and natural storytellers.
• Enjoy entertaining people and creating memorable experiences.
• Have a genuine interest in Perth and Fremantle's small bars, food and drink scene.
• Are curious about local history, art, culture and quirky stories.
• Are organised, reliable and confident speaking in front of groups.
• Are interested in ongoing casual work, including afternoons, evenings and weekends.
• Are available Fridays and Saturdays throughout December.

Calling all performers, presenters and entertainers!

If you have a background in theatre, comedy, performing arts, public speaking, tourism, hospitality or events, your skills could be a wonderful fit.

Previous tour guiding experience is welcome, but it is certainly not essential. We are looking for people with the right personality, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Casual employment paid at the applicable award rate.
