Applicants must be in Year 10 (2026) and Year 11 (2027), possess a White Card, a valid driver’s licence, and a reliable transport option.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in and completing Year 10 in 2026.
Commencing Year 11 in 2027.
Passion and genuine interest in mechanics.
Construction White Card (can be completed prior to commencement).
Motivated and willing to learn.
Reliable, with a positive attitude.
Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
Flexible and available to work both day and night shifts if required.
Competent numeracy and literacy skills.

Responsibilities

Inspecting, servicing and repairing plant machinery and equipment.
Diagnosing and repairing braking and steering systems.
Inspecting, servicing and repairing cooling, emissions and air-conditioning systems.
Properly maintaining tools, materials and equipment.
Assisting with light fabrication work.
Using a range of hand and power tools.
Assisting with keeping workshops and surrounding areas clean and tidy.
Assisting with maintaining daily records of plant, labour and materials used.
