Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Dubbo is seeking hands-on Maintenance Technicians to support a new operation in the renewable energy sector. You will inspect, service, maintain and prepare specialised tools and equipment used by technicians working on wind turbines.

Travel to Newcastle for customer-specific training during Nov–Dec 2026 is required, with travel/accommodation covered. Experience with mechanical, electrical or hydraulic equipment and a trade/technical qualification is valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience with industrial equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulic systems.
• Confident with hand and power tools and following technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail when recording maintenance and equipment information.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tools and equipment for wear, damage, faults and serviceability.
• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, minor repairs and component replacement.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment.
• Support calibration, testing and certification of specialised equipment.
• Prepare tools and equipment for technicians going into the field.
• Receive returned equipment, inspect its condition and identify required maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service, repair, calibration and asset records.
• Pick, pack and prepare equipment for dispatch to field locations.
• Safely handle tooling and larger equipment within the workshop and warehouse.
• Work with suppliers and specialist repair providers when additional support is required.
