Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking hands-on Maintenance Technicians to join a new operation in Dubbo supporting the renewable energy sector. In a workshop and warehouse, you’ll inspect, service, maintain and prepare specialised tools and equipment used by technicians working on wind turbines.

You’ll receive specialist training and may travel to Newcastle for initial customer-specific training before returning to Dubbo.

Qualifications

• Trade or technical qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulic equipment.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and use tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tools and equipment for wear, damage, faults and serviceability.
• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, minor repairs and component replacement.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment.
• Support calibration, testing and certification of specialised equipment.
• Prepare tools and equipment for technicians going into the field.
• Receive returned equipment and identify required maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service, repair and asset records.
• Pack and dispatch equipment to field locations.
• Safely handle tooling and larger equipment in workshop/warehouse.
• Collaborate with suppliers and repair providers as needed.
