Job summary

Protech Traffic is seeking experienced, safety-focused TMA Drivers to join our team across Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and surrounding regions. Immediate start available for casual roles with regular ongoing work and a driver rate from $39.81 per hour plus allowances.

Weekly pay, supportive planning teams, and clear paths for progression are offered. Responsibilities include operating TMA vehicles, daily inspections, and coordinating with Traffic Controllers and Crew Leaders.

Qualifications

• Current Construction White Card.
• Current QLD Traffic Control Licence (Stop/Slow Bat).
• Current TMI Accreditation.
• Current MR Licence minimum (HR highly regarded).
• Previous TMA driving experience preferred.
• Ability to work days, nights and weekends when required.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate TMA vehicles in high-speed environments.
• Undertake daily vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Assist with traffic control setup and pack-down activities.
• Work closely with Traffic Controllers, Crew Leaders and clients.
• Maintain compliance with traffic management plans and site procedures.
• Deliver a professional and safety-first approach on every shift.
• Support a positive team culture and high safety standards.

Responsibilities

The role as a TMA Driver, you will play a critical role in protecting work crews and road users across a variety of road maintenance, construction and infrastructure projects.

• Operate Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) vehicles in high-speed environments.
• Undertake daily vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Assist with traffic control set-up and pack-down activities.
• Work closely with Traffic Controllers, Crew Leaders and clients.
• Maintain compliance with traffic management plans and site procedures.
• Deliver a professional and safety-first approach on every shift.
• Support a positive team culture and high safety standards.

What we're looking for essential requirements

• Current Construction White Card
