Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in IT/CS/BIS, or ≥5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience gathering requirements from stakeholders for ICT systems and software solutions.
• Experience with IBM Planning Analytics and TM1 in consulting, implementation, or support roles.
• Proven ability to create functional specs, system plans and project documentation.
• Willingness to mentor and support junior consultants.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated TM1 Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis. Reporting to a Practice Manager, this role is suited to a technically capable consultant who shares Cubewise's passion for TM1, enjoys solving complex FP&A and planning analytics challenges, and can work directly with clients to deliver enduring solutions, practical training and meaningful support.

Key responsibilities

Engaging with clients to understand business requirements and prepare statements of work and technical solution recommendations.

Implementing TM1 and IBM Planning Analytics projects in accordance with approved project designs.

Diagnosing and resolving technical issues within client systems, including complex problem solving where required.

Creating, maintaining and updating technical documentation for implemented solutions.

Providing training and support to clients on implemented TM1 and Planning Analytics solutions.

Leading TM1 and Planning Analytics projects to support successful delivery on time and within budget.

Mentoring and supporting consultants and contributing to capability uplift across the team.

Supporting pre-sales activities, developing presentation materials and managing proof of concept demonstrations in coordination with account, practice and general management teams.

Ensuring the quality of deliverables and adherence to best practice standards.

Keeping up to date with relevant technologies, industry trends and developments in TM1 and Planning Analytics.

About you

A bachelor degree or higher qualification in information technology, computer science, business information systems or a closely related discipline, or at least five years of relevant experience and/or relevant vendor certification in lieu of formal qualifications.

At least 12 months' experience working with users and stakeholders to identify, formulate, analyse and document business requirements for ICT systems and software solutions.

Ability to investigate and analyse business processes, procedures and work practices, identifying inefficiencies and recommend improved business practices, system functionality and system behaviours.

Experience developing functional specifications, system plans and supporting documentation for use by developers, consultants, project teams and business users.

Experience using data and process modelling techniques to create clear system specifications for the design, configuration and development of system software and planning analytics solutions.

Practical experience deploying functional ICT solutions, including preparing or implementing system test plans, supporting user acceptance testing and ensuring the quality and integrity of delivered systems.

Demonstrated experience with IBM Planning Analytics and TM1 in a consulting, implementation, support or business systems analysis environment will be highly regarded.

Strong communication skills, including the ability to act as a central reference point for system project decisions and provide guidance, assistance, training and support to business users and project stakeholders.
