Job summary

Department of Agriculture and Fisheries in Darwin is recruiting for a 0.3 FTE casual position to support the Forestry Group. The role focuses on planning, coordinating and delivering field-based forestry research for the externally funded Tiwi Community Forestry Pilot.

The candidate will undertake field work on Tiwi Islands during the dry season (May-October), contribute to research methodologies, collect and analyse data, and prepare technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver forestry field-based research.
• Develop and refine research methodologies for Tiwi Community Forestry Pilot.
• Collect, analyze project data and prepare technical and project reports.
• Support other externally funded forestry projects and reporting activities.
