Carmel College is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Secondary Teacher (Chemistry/Mathematics)to deliver high‑quality learning across Junior and Senior years. This position offers the opportunity to join a vibrant learning community committed to academic excellence, holistic student development and contemporary pedagogical practice. The successful applicant will contribute to engaging and rigorous Chemistry and Mathematics programs, support the College’s mission and values, and participate actively in curriculum planning, pastoral care and co‑curricular life.

In this position you will be responsible for:

• Creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices
• Collaboratively developing and implementing quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluating their effectiveness; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes; and reporting these to students, parents and the community
• Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school and fostering a positive school culture
• Proactively engaging with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes
• Establishing positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and supporting their spiritual and moral development
• Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.
