Job summary

Bretts is seeking a Junior or Intermediate Estimator in Brisbane to join the Allkind Joinery division. The role focuses on analysing specifications, quotes, and tenders for customised timber packages. Training will be provided to build technical knowledge and software skills.

You will work with clients, architects and internal teams to coordinate projects and hand off quotes into production, growing alongside experienced colleagues in a well-established timber manufacturing business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience in estimating, preferably in timber joinery or related manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and documentation.
• Comfortable learning new software such as Joinerysoft, AutoCAD, or AWS.
• Current Queensland Driver’s Licence.
• Keen eye for detail, reliable work ethic, and willingness to learn custom timber crafts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and analyse specifications by reviewing site reports, architectural plans, and tender documentation.
• Prepare quotes, pricing, take-offs, and tenders for custom timber packages.
• Liaise with clients, architects, builders, and internal teams to coordinate project details.
• Collaborate with the team to hand off finalised quotes into production.
