Job summary

Unyte is seeking experienced HR Tilt Tray and Float Drivers to support our civil construction projects by safely and efficiently transporting materials, equipment and machinery to and from site.

This hands-on role is suited to a safety-conscious, professional driver committed to vehicle presentation, NHVR compliance and strong teamwork with site crews. Based at Avalon, you will operate tilt tray or floats, travel locally and interstate, and assist with loading/unloading and yard operations.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HR/HC/MC licence for the vehicle operated.
• White Card (Construction Induction) is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ heavy vehicle driving experience in civil/construction.
• Ability to stay away from home; occasional longer trips.
• Strong understanding of road transport legislation and CoR obligations.
• Experience with oversize/over mass loads.
• Reliable, safety-focused and professional approach.
• Own reliable transport to the depot; VicRoads record will be checked.

Responsibilities

• Operate Tilt Tray Vehicle or Floats safely and efficiently.
• Travel locally and interstate.
• Ensure loads meet mass, dimension and load restraint requirements.
• Complete daily pre-start checks and report defects.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation.
• Support site and yard operations, including loading/unloading and team coordination.

Skills

Valid HR/HC/MC licence
