Job summary

Sydney Grouting and Tiling Services is seeking an experienced Floor & Wall Tiler / Waterproofer for subcontractor work across Liverpool to the Southern Highlands. The role focuses on tiling, waterproofing, leakage rectification and related bathroom repairs in customers’ homes.

You will join an established team, enjoy a steady pipeline of local jobs, and have independence on site with admin handled by the office.

Qualifications

• Own tools and reliable vehicle.
• ABN or Pty Ltd setup.
• Current public liability insurance.
• Appropriate workers compensation and/or income protection insurance, where applicable.
• Valid Construction White Card.
• Wall & Floor Tiling and/or waterproofing qualifications and experience.
• National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Floor & wall tiling – repairs, replacement and rectification work.
• Leaking shower and bathroom repairs.
• Waterproofing – preparation and membrane application.
• Grouting, including epoxy grouting, and caulking.
• Screeding and surface preparation.
• Removal and replacement of damaged tiles and substrates.
• Shower screen removal and reinstallation where required.
• Maintaining a clean and professional worksite in customers’ homes.
• Clear, professional communication with customers and our team.

Experienced Floor & Wall Tiler / Waterproofer – Subcontractor – Liverpool to Southern Highlands

We’re looking for an experienced Floor & Wall Tiler / Waterproofer to join our established team on a subcontractor basis, servicing Liverpool, Campbelltown, Camden, the Southern Highlands and surrounding areas.

We are leaking shower and bathroom rectification specialists, with the majority of our work carried out in customers’ homes. Our jobs range from targeted leaking shower repairs and waterproofing through to more extensive bathroom rectification works.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for reliable, ongoing work close to home, without the hassle of finding jobs, quoting customers, invoicing or chasing payments.

Your Role Will Include

• Floor & wall tiling – repairs, replacement and rectification work

Handyman / Carpentry Skills Are a Big Plus

The ideal applicant will also be comfortable carrying out minor carpentry and building repairs, such as:

• Re-sheeting bathroom or shower walls
• Installing or replacing fibre cement sheeting
• Replacing damaged flooring/substrates where required
• Other minor preparation and repair work associated with bathroom rectification

These skills are highly regarded but not essential. If you’re an excellent tiler and waterproofer without this experience, we’d still like to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For

• An experienced, self-motivated tradesperson who can work independently
• Strong tiling and waterproofing skills
• Experience with repair and rectification work rather than just new builds
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Someone who is comfortable working in occupied residential homes
• Respect for customers’ properties – cleanliness, presentation and professionalism are important
• Reliable, organised and able to take ownership of jobs from start to finish
