Job summary

Aqua Seal (AUST) Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled tiling, caulking and sealing professional to join our Victoria team. You will prepare surfaces, apply sealants and ensure waterproofing quality across residential and commercial sites.

The role requires attention to detail, physical fitness and the ability to travel to client sites. A White Card and Heights ticket are essential, with a valid driver’s license preferred for service work.

Qualifications

• Experience in tiling, caulking, sealing, waterproofing or a similar construction trade.
• Attention to detail and delivering high-quality finishes.
• Understanding of construction plans, measurements and site requirements.
• Willingness to travel to client sites across Victoria.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Physically fit and able to work onsite, including at heights.
• Current Construction White Card is required.
• Working at Heights ticket is required; willing to obtain if not held.
• Driver's license preferred for occasional service work.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking with quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces and preparing work areas.
• Preparing surfaces by removing old sealants, grout and adhesive and cleaning surfaces.
• Carrying out tiling and caulking across client sites.
• Applying sealants to windows, doors, bathrooms, kitchens, walls, surfaces and joints.
• Applying fire-rated sealants and completing sealing works per project.
• Using tools to apply, smooth and finish sealants at edges and corners.
• Ensuring neat, even and professional finishes.
• Removing excess sealant and finishing surfaces to a high quality.
• Inspecting completed work to meet specifications and quality standards.

Job description

Key responsibilities

• Examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces, and preparing work areas for caulking and sealing applications
• Preparing surfaces by removing old sealants, grout and adhesive, filling gaps and cracks, and cleaning surfaces
• Carrying out commercial and residential tiling and caulking works across various client sites
• Applying sealants to windows, doors, bathrooms, kitchens, walls, floors, joints and other areas as required to achieve waterproofing requirements
• Applying fire-rated sealants and completing fire-rated sealing works in accordance with project requirements
• Using appropriate tools and equipment to apply, smooth and finish sealants around edges, corners, fittings, pipes and fixtures
• Ensuring sealant applications are neat, even, correctly aligned and provide a professional finish
• Removing excess sealant and cleaning completed surfaces to ensure a clean and high-quality finish
• Inspecting completed work to ensure all caulking, sealing and associated works meet required specifications and quality standards

About you

• Previous experience in tiling, caulking, sealing, waterproofing or a similar construction trade
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality finishes
• Good understanding of construction plans, measurements and site requirements
• Ability to work across different locations and travel to client sites throughout Victoria
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Physically fit and comfortable working onsite, including working at different heights where required
• A current Construction White Card is required
• A Working at Heights ticket is required; applicants without one must be willing to obtain it
• A valid driver's licence is preferred for occasional service work
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking with strong self-motivation and quality focus
