Job summary

Yama Tiling in Melbourne is seeking a sharp Estimator to join our growing tiling and stone business. You will prepare take-offs and quotes from drawings to win the right work with the right margin, in a hands-on estimating role with room to grow.

You’ll read plans and specs, price to our rate card, liaise with builders and suppliers, and submit quotes on time while maintaining accurate estimating data. Proficiency in AutoCAD, PlanSwift and Excel is essential.

Yama Tiling is a growing Melbourne tiling and stone business with our own in-house fabrication (bridge saw and waterjet). We deliver high-quality tiling, stone and paving across residential and commercial projects - and we're scaling up. We're looking for a sharp, motivated Estimator to join our team and grow with the business.

The Role

You'll prepare accurate take-offs and quotes for tiling and stone projects, working from drawings and specifications to win the right work at the right margin. This is a hands-on estimating role with genuine room to grow for the right person.

What we're looking for

Proficiency in AutoCAD, PlanSwift, and Excel - this is essential

Experience estimating in tiling, stone, flooring, or a related construction trade

Strong attention to detail and accuracy - you don't miss scope

Good numbers sense and the ability to work to deadlines

Clear communicator who works well in a team
