Job summary

TileStone Group would like to hire an experienced Tiling Estimator to join our NSW team. You will prepare accurate estimates and quotations for residential and commercial tiling projects, collaborating with clients, suppliers, project managers, and installers to price projects competitively.

Responsibilities include review of plans, take-offs, supplier price comparisons, tender submissions, and maintaining estimating records throughout project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Tiling Estimator or similar role.
• Ability to read plans, drawings and specifications.
• Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to attend project sites.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
• Attend site visits if required.
• Perform take-offs & prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
• Obtain and compare supplier pricing and maintain up-to-date material costs.
• Identify potential project risks, variations, wastage, and additional requirements.
• Liaise with clients, builders, suppliers, and internal teams to clarify project requirements.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Prepare tender submissions.
• Maintain accurate estimating records and documentation.
• Work with project management and operations teams to ensure estimates are handed over accurately.
