Next Level Consulting Solutions Pty Ltd in Underwood is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for a long-term civil project. You will handle 33–35T machines, perform precise trenching, and work in tight spaces without GPS, ensuring smooth production and safety.

The role requires versatile machine handling, strong trenching skills, and coordination with pipe crews and shoring teams on a busy site. If you bring a proven track record on 30T+ excavators, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Strong civil excavator experience.
• Excellent trenching experience.
• Confident on 30T+ excavators.
• Experience working in confined/tight civil sites.
• Able to work around shoring, pipe crews, trucks, cranes and services.
• Versatile enough to jump between machines and tasks.
• Productive operator who prioritises safety.
• Relevant Excavator ticket and White Card.

Responsibilities

• Trenching alongside an existing road
• Excavating in extremely tight working areas
• Loading spoil directly into trucks
• Working around existing services and overhead powerlines
• Assisting the pipe crew to get pipes laid correctly
• Moving shoring regularly as the trench progresses
• Excavation and preparation around pits
• Working alongside cranes installing pits and pipe
• Occasional loading of materials at the local yard
• Read the job in front of you, communicate with the pipe crew and keep production moving safely
