Zeal Personnel is seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Welder for a 3-week casual assignment in a busy Perth workshop. The role involves fabricating, assembling, and welding heavy structural components for mining and heavy infra projects.
Requirements include a Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade/Boilermaker), strong GTAW (TIG) welding skills across all positions, and the ability to read complex drawings and ISO welding symbols.
Qualifications
- Australian Trade Qualification (Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade / Boilermaker).
- Experience fabricating carbon, alloy and stainless steels.
- High proficiency in GTAW (TIG) welding across all positions.
- Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and ISO welding symbols.
Responsibilities
- Fabrication & assembly of heavy steel components per shop drawings.
- Perform GTAW (TIG) welding to AS/NZS 1554.1 standards.
- Safely operate workshop machinery.
- Maintain QA/QC tolerances and safety standards during welding.
