Job summary

The Hospital Research Foundation Group’s Brain & Body Fitness team is seeking a Therapy Assistant to support clients from onboarding through ongoing participation. You will coordinate bookings, maintain records and help clients use digital platforms while ensuring the studio is safe, welcoming and well presented.

You will work with Exercise Physiologists during supervised group sessions, contribute to community activities and build relationships with clients, families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or Certificate IV in Fitness.
• Current or eligible AusActive registration where relevant.
• Experience in health, disability, fitness, community or aged care setting.
• Strong administration, organisation and digitalskills.
• Excellent communication and ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support client onboarding with intake paperwork, consent forms, funding information and profile setup.
• Coordinate appointments, classes and reviews; respond to routine client enquiries by phone, email and in person.
• Maintain accurate client records, attendance, compliance documents and service outcome data.
• Assist Exercise Physiologists during supervised group sessions by preparing equipment and encouraging participation.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, safe and welcoming studio, including equipment setup and incident reporting.
• Support client communications, community events, referral pathways and promotional activities across digital platforms.
