Life Without Barriers in Dubbo is seeking a Therapeutic Youth Worker to provide supported care for young people aged 12 to 17 who have experienced trauma. This permanent part-time max term and casual role requires a compassionate approach and commitment to safe, trauma-informed practice.

The role operates in 24/7 residential homes with shifts including afternoons, sleepovers and weekends. Applicants with relevant lived experience are encouraged to apply; a Diploma or higher in community services

Competenze

• Hold or be actively completing a Diploma in Community Services or related field.
• Experience supporting Children, Young People and/or People with disability.
• A current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) certificate.

Mansioni

• Support children and young people aged 12–17 who’ve experienced trauma.
• Roster includes afternoon, sleepover and weekend shifts across 24/7 residential homes.
