Life Without Barriers in Dubbo is seeking a Therapeutic Youth Worker to support young people aged 12 to 17 who have experienced trauma. The role is permanent part-time max term and casual, operating in 24/7 residential homes with shifts including afternoons, sleepovers, and weekends.

Applicants with a Diploma in Community Services or equivalent experience, plus a current First Aid certificate, are encouraged to apply. Probity checks are required.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma in Community Services (or higher) is preferred.
• Experience supporting Children, Young People and/or People with disability is desirable.
• Provide First Aid certification (HLTAID011) is required or in progress.

Aufgaben

• Support children and young people aged 12 to 17 who’ve experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect.
• Be part of a 24/7 residential care roster, including afternoon, sleepover and weekend shifts.
