Job summary

Allambi Care is seeking a Youth Support Worker (Intensive Therapeutic Care) for the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter and Central Coast region. The role involves direct care in homes, schools, hospitals and community settings, following structured routines to support vulnerable clients.

You will build strong relationships, administer medications, transport clients, and assist in development programs. A paid induction, ongoing support and on-call coverage are provided as part of the Allambi

Qualifications

• Current Working with Children Check required.
• NDIS Worker Check required.
• Provide First Aid certificate required.
• National Police Check required.
• Driver's licence (P2 minimum) required.
• Vehicle to transport 4+ people required.
• Complete NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
• Ability to work a 7-day roster.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients and provide direct care.
• Deliver around-the-clock care following structured routines.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Transport clients to school, programs and appointments.
• Assist in implementing development programs.
• Prepare and submit reports.
