Job summary

Allambi Care is seeking a Casual Support Worker to assist individuals with disabilities, children, and young people across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter, and Central Coast regions. You will provide person-centred active support to help clients develop daily living skills and independence.

Role includes personal care, medication support, transport, and program delivery. A range of checks and licenses are required, including WWCC, NDIS check, First Aid, and a valid driver’s licence; this is a

Qualifications

Current Working with Children Check (paid employment).
Current NDIS Worker Check.
Current First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid; HLTAID011).
National Police Check ( NSW).
Current driver’s licence (minimum P2).
A vehicle that can transport 4+ people.
Comprehensive Car Insurance.
NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
Ability to work a 7-day roster.
Willingness to undergo pre-employment medicals.
Two professional references.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with the people in care.
Provide care including personal, medication and domestic tasks as per care plan.
Transport clients to school, shops, and appointments.
Assist in implementing development programs.
Prepare and maintain reports.
