Job summary

Allambi Care in Northern NSW is seeking a Part-time and Casual Support Worker for Youth (Intensive Therapeutic Care) and Disability Support. You will provide direct care in homes, schools, hospitals and community settings, building trusting relationships and supporting daily routines for young people.

The role offers paid induction including Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, a structured probation period with mentor support, and opportunities to enrol in CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services

Qualifications

• Essential criteria include Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Check, First Aid certificate, and National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Build a relationship with the people you are caring for.
• Provide 24/7 around the clock care to participants following a structured routine.
• Administer medication as required.
• Transport participants to and from school, day programs, appointments and visits.
• Assist in implementing programs designed for client development.
• Prepare and maintain accurate report writing.
