Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
Location: Newcastle with flexible hybrid working arrangements
We’re seeking a qualified and experienced clinician—such as a social worker, psychologist, counsellor, or mental health nurse—to join our statewide practice team. Other qualifications and experience will also be considered.
This role offers a high level of flexibility, with a proportion of work conducted from home and our local Newcastle office, balanced by regular in-person engagement with the children, young people and carers you support.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to trauma-informed care planning, behaviour support, and placement matching to promote safety, stability, and healing. You’ll engage with carers, families, and professionals to assess needs and guide therapeutic interventions tailored to each child’s circumstances.
You’ll benefit from regular individual and group supervision, reflective practice, and a supportive team culture that values shared learning and evidence-informed approaches. Our statewide model offers connection with a network of clinicians and opportunities to contribute to service development.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check.
