Job summary

Safe Places for Children is seeking a Therapeutic Practice Coordinator to support care teams across Ipswich and Toowoomba. You’ll guide therapeutic care, oversee case planning, and ensure trauma-informed approaches are applied.

Based in Ipswich with regular travel to Toowoomba, you’ll collaborate with leadership and frontline staff, deliver TCI training, and advocate for young people’s best interests within integrated practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field is required.
• Experience in trauma-informed care and therapeutic practice preferred.
• Able to engage with internal and external stakeholders to support care planning.

Responsibilities

• Stay current with trauma-informed care and licensing processes.
• Advocate for young people and guide therapeutic needs with stakeholders.
• Promote Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training.
• Provide post-crisis support and assist with post-incident reviews.
• Drive quality outcomes through case clinics and PBSP documentation.
• Consult on intakes, referrals, and risk assessments.
