Job summary

Safe Places is seeking a full-time Therapeutic Practice Coordinator to support the Logan region, primarily in Beenleigh. You will guide care teams to deliver trauma-informed, therapeutic care for young people in out-of-home care, influenced by the Safe Places Integrated Practice Framework.

You will work with leadership and frontline staff to ensure best interests of the young person drive case planning and care decisions, while delivering TCI training and ensuring high-quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or related discipline or Diploma of Community Services and minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• Be values based, professional, and trusted adviser.
• People-focused with strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support care teams to provide therapeutic care to young people.
• Advise on practice using the Integrated Practice Framework and trauma-informed care.
• Promote Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and deliver training packages.
• Support post-crisis responses and conduct case reviews to influence care plans.
• Consult on intakes, referrals, risk assessments and site planning.
