The Bays Healthcare Group is seeking Theatre Orderlies for casual shifts at The Bays Hospital, Mornington. You will support perioperative services, transporting patients and maintaining clinical areas to a high standard.

Job description

We are seeking motivated Theatre Orderlies to join our team on a casual basis. This role plays a vital part in supporting the efficient day-to-day operations in our perioperative services, ensuring patients are safely transported and clinical areas are maintained to a high standard.

Working closely with nursing and medical staff, you will contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

• Safely transport patients between Wards, Day Surgery Unit, Holding Bay, PACU and Operating Theatres.
• Assist with patient lifting and transfer in line with manual handling guidelines.
• Prepare beds and trolleys, ensuring readiness for procedures.
• Assist with equipment collection, cleaning and distribution.
• Maintain patient dignity, privacy and confidentiality at all times.
