Job summary

St George Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Operating Theatres team in Sydney. This permanent position offers Full Time or Part Time opportunities, with up to 38 hours per week and competitive remuneration.

As part of the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, you will provide high-quality perioperative nursing care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to patient-centred outcomes while adhering to NSW Health CORE values.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and to guide others in providing service excellence.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality nursing care to patients/clients of the St George Hospital and Health service consistent with SESLHD and St George Hospital policies, procedures and standards.
• Demonstrated recent post registration scrub scout experience in an acute care setting
