Job summary

Calvary Launceston invites Enrolled Nurses to join our Theatre Services at St Vincent's Hospital in Launceston. You will work across Endoscopy and Day of Surgery Admission (DOSA) areas under supervision, delivering safe, patient-centred care throughout the surgical journey.

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be part of a dedicated team committed to clinical excellence, ongoing learning, and supportive collaboration in a busy theatre environment.

Qualifications

• Recent clinical experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
• Current AHPRA Registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Ability to work unsupervised during high demand periods.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Desire to work in a mission-based organisation with patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centred care in a safe environment.
• Function as an Enrolled Nurse with Medication Endorsement within scope.
• Administer medications safely and perform nursing duties as required.
