Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a casual Catering and Food Preparation worker at the Leichhardt facility to provide quality catering services to residents. You will communicate with residents to understand their needs, uphold privacy rights, and support continuous service improvement.

A Certificate 2 in Hospitality or Aged Care is preferred, with Uniting values of compassion, respect, imagination and boldness guiding daily work.

Qualifications

• Great communication and customer service skills.
• Understanding of Work Health and Safety principles.
• Ability to adapt and show empathy while upholding Uniting values.

What you’ll be doing in this role

• You’ll provide catering services to residents in a timely manner.
• Communicate with residents on their requirements and needs
• Promote the rights and privacy of our clients
• Work with continuous improvement of our service to ensure its the best it can be

What do we need you to bring

Ideally, you’ll have a Certificate 2 in Hospitality, Aged Care or an equivalent qualification. If you’re not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help you get there.

• You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
