Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT Marrickville facility is seeking an experienced hospitality worker for a Catering and Food Preparation role. You’ll provide catering services to residents in a timely manner and communicate with residents on their requirements and needs.

You’ll promote the rights and privacy of our clients and contribute to continuous service improvement. This opportunity supports growth with Uniting’s values, benefits, and a friendly, inclusive team environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate 2 in Hospitality, Aged Care or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Good understanding of WHS principles and risk management.

What you’ll be doing in this role

What do we need you to bring

Ideally, you’ll have a Certificate 2 in Hospitality, Aged Care or an equivalent qualification. If you’re not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help you get there.

• Great communication and customer service skills
• Great understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and risk management
• You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
