Job summary

INIT Australia is seeking an experienced Test Environment Manager to oversee non‑production environments across on‑premises, Azure, and hybrid platforms. You will own performance, governance, and readiness for efficient development, testing, and release cycles.

The role requires strong technical grounding in application architecture, interdependencies, and a collaborative approach to problem solving. Prior experience with DevOps practices and IaC is essential for success.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/CS/Engineering.
Proven experience managing non-production environments in complex orgs.
Strong DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and environment config management.
Experience with Azure and hybrid cloud integrations.
Knowledge of governance, documentation, and change management.

Responsibilities

Own non-production environment operations across on‑prem, Azure, and hybrid platforms.
Coordinate upgrades, patches, data refreshes, and config changes.
Collaborate with DevOps, operations, delivery, and vendors to resolve issues.
Maintain environment documentation, runbooks, and architecture references.
Report status, incidents, changes, risks clearly to stakeholders.
