Job summary

BI3 Technologies seeks an experienced Test Engineer – Data & Analytics to join a major enterprise data program in the financial services sector. The role is hands-on and focuses on validating data pipelines, transformations, and analytics outputs across Snowflake and Azure.

You will collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders to ensure data quality, accuracy and reliability, supporting UAT, release readiness and production validation.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of software, data or ETL testing experience.
• Hands-on SQL skills are essential.
• Experience testing data warehouses, data platforms and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Practical Snowflake experience.
• Experience in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Knowledge of data reconciliation and data-quality testing.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps).

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, test cases and test scenarios for data solutions.
• Perform data validation and data quality testing across source, staging and target systems.
• Test ETL/ELT pipelines and complex data transformations.

This is a hands‑on testing role focused on ensuring the quality, accuracy and reliability of data across a modern cloud‑based data platform. You will work closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, Developers, Product Owners and business stakeholders to validate data pipelines, transformations, integrations and analytical outputs. The environment is primarily Microsoft Azure and Snowflake, so we are looking for someone with strong SQL skills and practical experience testing enterprise data platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, test cases and test scenarios for data and analytics solutions.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation and data quality testing across source, staging and target systems.
• Test ETL/ELT pipelines and complex data transformations.
• Write advanced SQL queries to validate data accuracy and completeness.
• Test solutions across Snowflake and Azure‑based data environments.
• Perform integration, regression, system and end‑to‑end testing.

About you
