Job summary

Profectus is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to deliver automated testing and quality assurance for a secure Angular-based web application used by an Australian Government agency. The role focuses on automated test development, regression testing, and ensuring robust DevSecOps integration across the deployment pipeline.

You will work in an onsite team, collaborating with engineers and government staff to validate data migrations, verify security remediation, and document testing

Qualifications

• Experience automating tests for enterprise web apps.
• Hands-on with Angular apps.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• ISTQB certification completed.
• Experience in Defence or government environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver test automation for an Angular-based enterprise web application.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for sustainment, remediation and feature work.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Support DevSecOps maturity uplift.
• Test data migration and integration changes.
• Verify vulnerability and SBOM remediation.
• Record, report and track defects.
• Document test approaches and results.
• Transfer knowledge to government staff.
