Job summary

Bridge IT Engineering in Canberra seeks an experienced Test & Evaluation Manager to support a major government capability program. The role focuses on planning, coordinating and reporting Test & Evaluation activities across complex systems, ensuring interoperability, compliance and operational effectiveness on-site in ACT.

The successful candidate will lead test planning, TRRs and assurance activities, with a strong background in systems engineering and documentation, and will hold a minimum NV1

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Test & Evaluation, systems engineering, verification and validation.
• Strong understanding of complex systems integration, test planning and assurance methodologies.
• Excellent organisational, stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.
• Ability to develop high-quality technical documentation and communicate findings effectively.
• Ability to work onsite in Symonston, ACT.
• Minimum NV1 security clearance at commencement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver Test & Evaluation activities, including verification and validation.
• Develop and review test plans, methodologies, procedures and technical reports.
• Conduct Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), workshops and assurance activities.
• Identify and manage testing risks, safety considerations and system integration requirements.
• Analyse test results and assess operational effectiveness and suitability.
• Engage with stakeholders, engineering teams and project managers to support capability delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of T&E processes, standards and documentation.

Contract: 1 January 2027 - 30 June 2028

Extension: 1 x 12-month option

Working Arrangements: Full-time onsite

Security Clearance: Minimum NV1 required at commencement, with potential upgrade to NV2

Bridge IT Engineering is seeking an experienced Test and Assurance Manager to support a major government capability program based in Canberra, ACT. This opportunity will suit an experienced Test & Evaluation (T&E) professional with a strong background in systems engineering, integration testing, verification and validation within complex ICT or systems engineering environments. The successful candidate will support the planning, coordination, execution and reporting of Test & Evaluation activities across complex systems-of-systems environments, ensuring operational effectiveness, interoperability and compliance with engineering and assurance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
