Job summary

Centorrino Technologies is seeking experienced Test Analysts to join our multidisciplinary delivery team in Brisbane. You’ll contribute to the ongoing enhancement and delivery of a large-scale digital platform, ensuring quality, reliability and performance through rigorous testing and QA practices.

Working with developers, stakeholders, architects and automated testers, you’ll develop and execute testing strategies, manage defects and validate requirements to ensure solutions are fit for release

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Test Analyst or Software Tester within complex ICT environments.
• Strong experience developing and executing test strategies, test plans, test cases and test scripts.
• Proven capability across functional, integration, system, regression, end-to-end and user acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases and test scripts to support digital platform delivery.
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression and end-to-end testing across applications and services.
• Validate portal functionality, APIs and integrations with departmental systems and supporting Azure services.
• Identify, document, track and verify defects, working with developers and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure solutions meet documented business, functional, non-functional and security requirements.
• Support test environment planning, test data preparation and release validation activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, architects and delivery teams to clarify requirements and establish comprehensive test coverage.
• Validate authentication, authorisation and security controls to protect information.
• Produce and maintain testing artefacts, including test plans, reports and traceability.
• Support user acceptance testing, including coordination, execution and issue management.
• Partner with automated testing teams to identify automation opportunities and validate coverage.

We are seeking experienced Test Analysts to join a multidisciplinary delivery team supporting the ongoing enhancement and delivery of a large-scale digital platform. This is an opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of digital solutions through comprehensive testing and quality assurance practices.

Working closely with developers, business stakeholders, solution architects and automated testing specialists, you will provide end-to-end testing expertise across multiple delivery streams. You will be responsible for developing and executing effective testing strategies, identifying and managing defects, validating business requirements and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and ready for release. You will also contribute to strengthening testing practices, improving test automation coverage and embedding quality throughout the Agile delivery lifecycle.

This role will commence ASAP and run through to 30 June 2027, based onsite in Brisbane, QLD.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases and test scripts to support digital platform delivery.
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression and end-to-end testing across applications and services.

• Ensure solutions meet documented business, functional, non-functional and security requirements.
• Support test environment planning, test data preparation and release validation activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, architects and delivery teams to clarify requirements and establish comprehensive test coverage.
• Validate authentication, authorisation and security controls to ensure customer and departmental information is protected.
• Produce and maintain testing artefacts, including test plans, test reports, defect registers and requirements traceability documentation.
• Support user acceptance testing, including coordination, execution, issue management and reporting.
• Partner with automated testing teams to identify automation opportunities, provide proven manual test scenarios and validate automated test coverage and results.
• Identify testing risks, dependencies and quality gaps, providing recommendations to improve delivery outcomes.
• Contribute to proof-of-concept activities, solution validation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, estimation, progress reporting and team collaboration.

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated experience as a Test Analyst or Software Tester within complex ICT environments.
• Strong experience developing and executing test strategies, test plans, test cases and test scripts.
• Proven capability across functional, integration, system, regression, end-to-end and user acceptance testing.
• Experience testing cloud-based applications, digital platforms, APIs and enterprise system integrations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and experience with application platforms such as Appian and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Experience identifying, documenting, managing and validating defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Understanding of authentication, authorisation, access controls and application security testing.
• Experience working alongside automated testing teams, identifying automation opportunities and validating automated test outcomes.
• Strong understanding of requirements traceability, test coverage, quality assurance and release validation practices.
• Experience with test environment management, test data preparation and supporting deployment and release activities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify quality risks, investigate issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments, including sprint-based development and continuous improvement practices.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality testing outcomes within tight project timeframes.
