Job summary

Metrohm Australia is seeking a Territory Manager for Brisbane QLD to market rugged analytical instrumentation and laboratory equipment across a defined territory in the South of Brisbane and western SEQ. The role focuses on developing new customers and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, with reporting into the Regional Manager.

The ideal candidate has a Chemistry/Science degree, experience in science-related sales, and a willingness to travel regionally.

• Background in Industrial Chemistry or Science related sales.
• Experience in account management and business development.
• Willingness to travel regionally and interstate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be able to work from a home office
• Find new customers and markets through effective account management
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through effective business development
• Provide delivery of superior services to our laboratory customer base across the assigned Territory
• Provide current technical documentation to customers
• A superior 'service delivery' approach who shows real concern with the customers' requirements
• Self-motivated and has the ability to work independently and willingness to undertake some regional travel
• Strong negotiation and people skills, with the ability to work with a dedicated local team but also have the ability to be a "self-starter"
• Professional presentation skills, with an ability to promote our services, in group situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Will fulfill reporting requirements professionally and in a timely manner with the company CRM
• Ideally our applicant will have a stable work history and
• A Chemistry/Science Degree (Ideal)
• Ability to diagnose application and operational issues on analytical systems
• Be able to undertake occasional regional and interstate trips
