Job summary

Bega Group in Queensland is seeking a Territory Manager to service customers and channels across the Mackay region, with quarterly runs to Longreach and Hamilton Island. You will be responsible for delivering sales targets and building strong relationships with your called-on customers.

Drive profitable growth through territory planning, product visibility and in-store execution for our top brand portfolio, including spreads and dairy products.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience, preferably in grocery channel.

The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Queensland Sales Team as a Territory Manager, servicing a variety of customers and channels in the Mackay area inclusive of a quarterly regional run to Longreach area and a quarterly run to Hamilton Island.

In this role you'll be responsible for delivering sales targets, building relationships with your called on customer base and driving profitable growth through effective territory planning and execution.

As a key member of our Sales team, this role requires managing and growing sales through the distribution and product visibility of our top brand portfolio. You will be selling in all our iconic brands inclusive of spreads, milk, milk-based beverages (and more!) to achieve key business objectives and priorities.

About you

• Based in or around the Mackay region, previous sales experience highly regarded with experience in the Independent Grocery channel viewed favourably but is not essential
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
• Open to try new strategies whilst challenging current ways of thinking to maximise sales and develop new opportunities
• Display high levels of teamwork and resilience to overcome sales challenges and achieve targets
